Thanksgiving break was super! It was wonderful to get together with family that we only see once or twice a year and catch up on each others' lives.

This week I've continued to develop my plan for testing my training module. I've asked four co-workers to serve as my guinea pigs. It was much harder to find four willing participants than I thought it would be, mostly because I felt guilty asking them to agree to assist me when I know they have their own commitments during this hectic time of year.   Although my project is not very complex, and I don't anticipate it will take a great deal of time for them to work through the steps, it could take longer for those who have to set up the different accounts. Just watching the other participants' cooking videos will take quite a bit of time.

I've been struggling a bit with developing the section of the lesson the participants are to complete using Google Drive.  I may have to tweak it some more before I'm satisfied with it.

  1. Kathy,
I had a hard time asking my students to review my learning activity as well. It's hard because you know they are just as busy as you are, so you hate to ask them to take some time out of their day for you. However, I found that once I asked them, they were sort of relieved, because they had projects of their own that had to have a review, so I agreed to review two student projects. It worked out great for all three of us.
